A group show exploring the language of economics and finance and the bleed of those vocabularies, grammars and logics into imaginative work and creative relationships.
At the centre of my contribution wass an uncorrected Google translation into Dutch of Of the Subcontract, published by Onomatopee (as OMP 132.1) for the duration of the exhibition using the print-on-demand platform Lulu. More info is available here.
An abridgement from that Dutch-language edition is also the basis of my video work in the show, which plays back the target language processing of Google's machine translation algorithim wopkring live, as a minimal data projection of an abridged selection of poems from the book.
I gave a reading at the gallery for the finissage event on 16 July 2016.
A digital programme of content relating to the exhibition was curated as Issue 3 of Sara Giannini's 'Unfold' platform.
A book responding the exhibition was published by Onomatopee (ras OMP 132) in September 2016.
