This two-part interview with Paul Buck, exploring the life and work of the British writer, translator, and artist, was commissioned for the Project Radio UK series, curated by Marion Harrison and Sophie Mallett.
Episode one was broadcast with a live audience at &Model Gallery (Leeds) and focuses on Buck's time in the Yorkshire town of Hebden Bridge during the 1970s, where he edited and published the now-legendary Curtains magazine.
Episode two was recorded later that evening without an audience and examines Buck's involvement with music groups, the theatre, crime fiction, and film, as well as contemporary art from the 1980s onwards.
Live readings and rare recordings are played throughout both episodes. They were broadcast on 9 and 10 October 2015 repsectively; both are embedded below.
