Organized around the curiously unoccupied fourth class in Universal Decimal Classification (UDC), the French library classification system since 1905, this group show proposed that the vacancy be filled by literate art. Based on the Dewey system and widely popular in libraries, the UDC adjusted its classification system in the mid-'60s, absorbing 'Linguistics' (previously the fourth class) into the eighth class of 'Language, Linguistics, Literature,' thus leaving the fourth class unoccupied.
This group show featured a selection of artists' books by me and a uniquely marbled screenprint from The Visitations at *** editions (2012).
