Framed and occasioned by the publication of my book Of the Subcontract, this long conversation with literary theorist Stephen Voyce touches on my previous books, art, and poetry, as well as an examination of the foci of conceputal poetics. Taking Of the Subcontract as an example, we discuss how such a text may or may not be a symptomatic presentation-representation of computational capitalism.
