A commissioned intervention for the end leaf of 'Inverted Visions', a special issue of Parallax Journal of Cultural Theory edited by Ignaz Cassar.
Posing as a publisher's correction sheet, this work features three quotations from Maurice Blanchot: one on the front, one on the back, and one running across the footer of both. In conversation, they turn the recto-verso logic of the leaf into a condensed expression of the infinite paradox about poetry at the heart of Balchot's conception of an intransitive literature.
This version was bound into the journal publication but originally conceived as a loose-leaf insert. A loose-leaf version was published later in 2008 for a special issue of the Vancouver-based literary periodical, The Capilano Review.
